JOEL BRUYERE MIX + PRODUCTION / STUDIO / PHOTOGRAPHY
Joel Bruyere is an independent mix engineer, producer and musician from Southwestern Ontario. Since 1999 Joel has been the bassist for Thousand Foot Krutch (TFK), a Canadian Rock Band. He has travelled around the world with TFK, playing thousands of shows in countries such as the United States, Australia and Germany.
For over six years Joel has demonstrated his passion for music, technology and composition via his work with numerous bands and artists as a mix engineer and producer. Joel’s attention to detail and demanding standards have garnered him recognition and acclaim as he continues to build a name for himself and his clients.
In 2011, as a testament to Joel’s skill and approach, he was accepted to the MIX With The MASTERS program, at La Fabrique in Saint-Rémy de Provence, France. The program matches a handful of skilled, specifically selected and motivated engineers with respected and renowned A-list producers and mix engineers. Joel’s program featured Peter Katis, who utilized collaboration and hands-on sessions to improve, refine and edge the participant’s skills and approach.
With over 14 years of experience in the music industry, Joel has developed recording and mixing techniques that encourages curiosity and a desire to listen-on. Using his well-trained ears and musical creativity, Joel helps his clients “put pen to paper” in a shared, respectful and professional atmosphere..
